Hello, everyone! I’m Joshua Tomlin, the newest member of the WDFB Staff. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born in 1995 in Danville, Ky. My family moved to Hustonville when I was 2, and I still live there today.

I honestly do not remember when I first came to WDFB; to me, it has always been around. My family began attending some of the Share-A-Thons, and I began volunteering with my sister to help out. I began singing and playing music at Share-A-Thon, also.

When WDFB began putting videos of Share-A-Thon on YouTube, I spent the summer of 2010 helping with that project. I came again to volunteer the next summer, and I learned several aspects of radio. In September of 2011, I was offered a job with the Radio Station. After asking God and my family, I gladly accepted.

It’s difficult to put a name or title on the things I do. I prepare Public Service Announcements for airing; I am also in charge of editing a new addition to the WDFB airwaves, called “Prayer Focus.” I help out wherever I am needed, and try not to get in the way. I’m thankful for the opportunity I have and the experience I am receiving.
